CORONA PVC-U profiles are made from high quality PVC-U that is stabilized lead free in order to avoid harm to the environment and human health.
PVC-U windows offer decades of serviceability and durability without ongoing maintenance costs.
PVC-U is highly fire resistant and self-extinguishing - the material does not spread fire. If the building catches fire, the PVC-U windows ensure that no increased dioxin levels arise.
PVC-U windows are ecofriendly, as no precious woods are used in their production.
Lasting weather resilience and thermal insulation materials mean that heat is conserved, thus minimizing damage to the environment.
Old PVC-U windows are recycled to create new windows of the best quality, relieving the pressure on landfill sites and incinerators.
The construction industry in Germany benefits from a window recycling initiative called FREI, which involves recycling of old PVC-U windows and off cuts from production. SCHÜCO International and its partners support this initiative and we would welcome its extension to other markets as well.
